ALLISON PARK TESTIMONIALS
Do you love your Neighbourhood? Then let it show! Have your children or yourself e-mail us a letter detailing everything you like best about living in Allison Park (events, the park, etc)
I was going to start off saying, "Thanks Chris." but realized that my intentions are to extend my thanks to you and your family. You and your family have given, and give, to this community in so many ways that a “Thank You” seems almost silly to extend, but I also know that the reason you all do what you do comes from your hearts and a thank you is often enough; so, THANK YOU for everything that you all do for me, my kids, my family, my community.

About the 2008 Easter Egg Hunt
Please pass along our sincere thanks to the organizers and sponsors of today's Easter Egg Hunt. What a great event, the children had such fun. We are new to the neighborhood (Feb), and are thrilled to be a part of such and involved and spirited community. We'll be sure to check the website for upcoming news/events and volunteer opportunities.

About the 2007 Canada Day Celebrations
Thank you very much for the wonderful Canada Activities!!!! I have three children ages 12, 6, and 3 and they all had an AMAZING time!! My three year old still looks at the park and asks me when the jumpy castles will be back!! We would also like to thank the "group" of neighbors that got together the fireworks!! My entire family enjoyed them immensely!! Next year if you do it again please knock on my door, I will gladly donate money to this amazing event!! Thank you Mr. Ecklund and all of the volunteers, and all of the members of out little community, you truly do make Allison Park the most amazing place for a couple to raise a family!!

Last year, if you remember, we lost Joe Marrone, and it was decided that the money raised from the Christmas Party (approx. $1500.00) be donated to the Marrone family. Below is a thank-you from Piera.
"During this tragic time of sorrow, I have learned how much our friends and our Neighbours really mean to us. My children and I take comfort in the fact that we live in such a caring community. Thank you so much for your kindness and sympathy at a time when it was deeply appreciated. The fundraising money will be placed in a trust fund for the children. Thank you again for support." From: The Marrone Family at 198 Jacqueline Blvd.
Our proceeds from our annual Christmas party were approximately $1500.00 and donated to her.

Samantha says the best thing about living here is all the friends she has met and the neighbours are nice. She can walk to the park to play with her friends and she loves shopping at the big garage sale we have every year.
Emily likes being close to her friends and playing at the park. Her favorite part is watching the fireworks and eating the big Canada day cake last year. It is also close enough to walk to McDonalds and the dollar store.
Ben likes to play with his friends at the park and play soccer and baseball with his dad.
