ALLISON PARK HALLOWE'EN PAGE On October 27, Mr. Ecklund held his annual Pumpkinfest in Allison Park. This is an event he holds in the park every year, and is anticipated for weeks in advance. This year 200 children showed up to carve the scariest pumpkin they knew how. Although it was windy and rainy outside, everyone kept warm thanks to the enclosed tent that Mr. Ecklund rented. There was a 'spooktacular' cake, as well as enough cookies and hot dogs to make sure that everyone, parents and kids alike, went home with full stomachs. There were games and face painters for the kids, inflatable jumpers from Par-t-Perfect, and guest appearances from Mayor Larry DiIanni and his wife Janet, Hamilton Mountain Liberal candidate Tyler Banham, and MPP Sophia Aggelonitis.
