BANK BALANCE In order to alleviate the concerns that the Neighbourhood had with the previous board and the problem regarding the non-disclosure of funds, we have decided that all functions that our association undertakes and any funds gathered will be posted in detail here, for all Allison Park residents to view. It is absolutely inexcusable that Allison Park residents have to go around wondering what, if any monies still exist. By posting such details here, we hope to regain the general trust as to how and when money was raised, and precisely how much. Never again will Neighbours have to wonder how the money they donated is being spent, or where it is. We believe that the Board of Directors and the banking records must be visible on this website, and funds disclosed as soon as possible after each event, with a running balance viewable on this site. Bank account numbers will be kept confidential, but the totals will be public. It is essential that this function of the Board be absolutely transparent: the actions of the previous board, which led to a lawsuit, can in no way be permitted to happen again. The bank balance as of July 13, 2007 is $5331.67. A recent deposit of $754.00 came from our Canada Day donations.
