ABOUT ALLISON PARK

The Allison Park Neighbourhood Association was formed and organized in 1999 by well known Hamilton Philanthropist Chris Ecklund. The organization is funded entirely through the donations from Mr.Ecklund.

Overwhelmingly voted as the best place to live in Hamilton, it is the most active neighbourhood Association in Hamilton, and Mr. Ecklund hosts, organizes and sponsors many events throughout the year.

Mr. Ecklund is known for his strong community support of various events and groups throughout the City, and has been extensively covered over the years
by various media outlets.

A strong believer in "Community First", he is especially active in Community Policing Initiatives and is well known throughout Canada by those in the administration of Justice.

As of October 2006, Mr. Ecklund has donated over $100,000 to the Allison Park Neighbourhood.
